Dealing with Negativity

Whenever you find yourself consumed in negative thought you have to consciously snap out of it by whatever means possible. You really have to guard your thoughts and emotions with all your energy.

Our negative emotions are just our fears and insecurities rising to the surface. Therefore, whenever you find yourself in a negative state of mind remind yourself that your focus is aligned in the wrong direction. That you are focussing on your fears, while you could very well direct your energy in thinking and doing the things that matter most to you.

You have big dreams, don’t you? Your excuses won’t help you get to them. Your complaints, doubts, or your ifonlys won’t either. You have to learn to direct your energy into doing the things that will help you reach your highest potential. Why are you afraid? Why are you unhappy? You want something, you go get it.

Stop pointing fingers at others and blaming others for your inaction. The world does not belong to the fearful. It belongs to the bold. It belongs to those who set a goal and go after it with a singular focus like their life depends on it. And if you are focusing on the negative things in your life, you are just wasting your time. If you don’t like where you are now you can act now and change your circumstances, you are not a tree.

Negative thought will kill you if you let it. The world is always going to be hostile if you let it. The question is not often about how you’d fight back. It’s about how you’d change your thoughts to allow a change in your circumstances. Focus on negativity or think about all the ways the world is an unfair place, well guess what, that’s all you are going to get. Focus on prosperity and commit every second of your day to it and you will not have the time to entertain a single negative thought, and consequently, in due time your reality will begin to reflect your focus – prosperity.

You have to guard your thoughts with all your energy. You have to guard your emotions with all your energy. Don’t leave them loose. Instead, use them to focus upon your greatest dreams, your most urgent needs.

So whenever you find yourself consumed in negative thought you have to consciously snap out of it by whatever means possible. You must. You cannot afford not to.
